Sunday Services

The church meets every Sunday at 10 am for tea, coffee, and biscuits. It helps to arrive 10-15 minutes early to get a parking spot and a seat in time for the service to start. The main service begins at 10.30 am.

There is parking available on the site.

You can expect a warm welcome; great worship; relevant preaching based on the Word of God and a friendly group of people ready to learn more about what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
We love having children with us and do not mind them making noise. We have a table in the same hall for children to color and do a craft.
For babies and toddlers, we have an area where you can play with your children while still joining in the service.
Twice a month during our meetings we offer children of Primary School age the opportunity to participate in some activities and teaching more relevant for their age. This is led by a great team of volunteers and we have clear safeguarding procedures in place to ensure that your children are safe and well cared for while they are with us.

Planning your Visit

Welcome

No matter where you are from, if you have previous experience of church or not, we know it can be an intimidating thing to come to a new church for the first time. We believe that if you come to Christ Church you will find a warm welcome from people who will try their best to help you feel at home. We will explain anything that you don't understand, and will make sure you've enjoyed your time with us as much as possible. Whether you are new to Birmingham or to church, we would love to meet you.

Sunday

We meet every Sunday at South Aston United Reformed Church.
There's a car park available and also on-street parking.
Please join us at 10 am for refreshments.
Our service starts at 10:30 am and you are welcome to stay for lunch with us which we have fortnightly.

What to expect

A typical service at Christ Church lasts an hour and a half. We start with a time of singing (we call it worship) we have news from our churches around the world and a relevant message based on the Bible. We focus on Jesus and teach messages that can be put into practice right away. There is an opportunity to be prayed for and we regularly have communion.

Children

We love having children with us and do not mind them making noise. We have a table for primary age children in the same hall for children to colour and do a craft during the talk.
For babies and toddlers, we have a staffed creche fornightly and on other weeks a space where you can play with your children
We have clear safeguarding procedures in place to ensure that your children are safe and well cared for while they are with us.
